Kate Gardner, M.S., BCBA

Executive Advisor, Clinical Operations

Kate Gardner is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than a decade in clinical practice and multi-site leadership. She holds a master's from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and has spent her career building the systems clinical teams run on: onboarding and training for BCBAs and RBTs, supervision and quality assurance structures, and curriculum adopted across centers. In her most recent operations role she directed six autism therapy locations with P&L accountability and more than 200 clinical and operational staff.

She's also the founder of Backspace Prep, which helps BCBA candidates rebuild how they study and pass the certification exam.

At Mind for Mission, Kate advises on clinical and behavioral health engagements. She knows where practices lose time and money: authorizations and payer requirements, RBT recruitment and retention, caseload and scheduling, documentation load. Her job is making sure what we build holds up inside a working clinic or for in-home private practices.
